This is the approximate recipe for Rum Swizzles served aboard all Windjammer/Barefoot Cruises ships at 5 p.m. each day. As is typical with Windjammer, there will be some variation due to the availability of supplies.. But, trust me, they are always tasty and effective!!! J

2006 — Windjammer has been playing with the formula in recent years, and the Swizzles are a little weaker than this traditional mix.

From WBC (via Bob in MI)

1 1/2 Gallon      Cavalier Over-Proof Rum ( From Antigua)

1 Quart              Meyers Rum 96 Proof ( From Jamaica)

7-48-oz cans     Orange Juice

7 48-oz cans     Pineapple Juice

12 1/2 dashes    Grenadines (not the Islands)

Mix well and add lots of ice.

Serves 80

6oz          151 Proof Rum

2 oz         Meyers Rum

10 oz       Orange Juice

10oz        Pineapple Juice

1/2 shot   Grenadine

Mix well and add ice.
